-4 pounds of brisket from the butcher at the grocery store (because my family eats A LOT of meat!)⁣⁣ -Salt -Pepper -2-3 Cups Beef Broth -3 Cloves Fresh Garlic, minced -2 tbsp Ghee -Fresh Thyme

- Salt and pepper the meat on both sides ⁣⁣ - Sear both sides of the meat in 2 ⁣⁣tablespoons of ghee — BUT let the ghee get really hot before you put the meat in the pan (Note: I prefer using ghee, because it has a high smoke point which means when cooking at a high temperature, it has an advantage over butter or olive oil)⁣⁣ - While the meat is searing, pour 2-3 cups of beef broth into the crockpot and add 3 cloves of minced garlic⁣⁣ - Once your meat has cooked on each side for about 3 minutes, place it in the crockpot fat side up, so that the juices drip down into the meat⁣⁣ - Place several sprigs of thyme on top⁣⁣ - Let cook on high in the crockpot for 6-7 hours TIPS: -This is one you don’t want to overcook because it will fall apart and be hard to slice. -Google how to slice a brisket -Top with your favorite BBQ sauce
